Leading Edge Appliances is one of several retail categories operated by Leading Edge Group Limited (LEG) under its Leading Edge Retail business. Leading Edge Group began in the mid 1980’s with a vision of helping small retail businesses unite to maximise their buying power through their collective approach to suppliers. This allowed these businesses to access stock and pricing reserved for larger Australian retailers. The success of this model allowed retailers from several different market categories to join as members. That membership now expands across Appliances, Computers, Electronics, Mobile Repairs, Books, Entertainment and Jewellery.
Leading Edge Group now offers retail businesses who are not part of these group categories, a membership opportunity to join the Essential Membership Program at a low monthly fee. These services include great merchant fees, member benefit access to discounted merchandise in thousands of lines, and coverage by Leading Edge Groups National Retail Association membership which provides HR and dispute resolution advice. Leading Edge Group provides many other valuable services that can be accessed on a pay-per-need basis such as technology and website support, financial assistance, business improvement and ready-for-sale services, leasing advice, merchandising, retailing skills training and much more.
All our Leading Edge Retail Members are independent retailers and make their own purchasing and business decisions. This allows them to retain complete autonomy whilst still enjoying being part of a small business community.
