This website (Website) is owned by Leading Edge Group Limited (ACN 093 019 213) and its affiliates and subsidiary entities (Leading Edge). These are the current terms and conditions. They replace any other terms and conditions for the Leading Edge Group website published on the Leading Edge Appliances websites to date.
By using this Website you agree to the Terms and Conditions below (Terms and Conditions) and acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Leading Edge may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice. Your continued use of this Website after any amendment becomes effective constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended. You acknowledge your obligations to keep yourself apprised of the Terms and Conditions as they change, modify or update.

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New South Wales. The information contained in this website is directed to and available for Australian users residing in Australia only. You and Leading Edge agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state of New South Wales. If any provision(s) of these Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Leading Edge will in no way be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from your use or your inability to use this Website or for the cost of procurement of substitute products or services or resulting from any products or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through this website or resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data or of any information contained on this Website, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if Leading Edge has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where any Act of Parliament implies in these Terms and Conditions any term, condition or warranty, and that Act avoids or prohibits provisions in a contract excluding or modifying the application of or exercise of, or liability under such term, condition or warranty, such term, condition or warranty shall be deemed to be included in these Terms and Conditions, however, the liability of Leading Edge for any breach of such term, condition or warranty shall be limited, at the option of Leading Edge, to any one or more of the following:
(a) if the breach relates to goods:
(i) the replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods;
(ii) the repair of such goods;
(iii) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
(iv) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and
(b) if the breach to services:
(i) the supplying of the services again; or
(ii) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
The information contained on this Website is provided by Leading Edge in good faith on an “as is” basis. The information is believed to be accurate and current at the date the information was placed on this Website. Products featured on this website may not be on display or in stock in every store. Your local Leading Edge Appliance (“LA”) store will enquire as to its availability. Some products featured on this website may be made obsolete at the discretion of the supplier. LA relies on the information provided by the supplier in relation to a product being current or obsolete. Every effort will be made to ensure products featuring on the Website are current and available, however in some cases obsolete models may inadvertently feature. This website is updated regularly to ensure all obsolete products are removed in a timely manner.
None of Leading Edge, its related bodies corporate, any of their directors, officers or employees makes any representation or warranty as to the reliability, accuracy or completeness of the information contained on this website (including in relation to any products or services) and none of them accept any responsibility arising in any way (including negligence) for errors in, or omissions from, the information contained on this Website. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Leading Edge disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Delivery & Installation
Our delivery service is available across Australia. It will be carried out by a reputable courier or may be delivered direct by the supplier, eg. Electrolux. We do not offer an installation service.
If you live in a non-serviceable area and extra delivery costs are required, our team will contact you directly to discuss your options. If you have any questions or concerns about deliveries or installations, you should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
One thing we want to avoid is unforeseen variables when attempting to deliver appliances that result in additional costs. Please review the below checklist before placing your order so we can do our best to meet your needs and expectations. We reserve the right to charge for additional time and services required to make a delivery that fails to adhere to the below checklist.
- Do you provide appropriate and safe access to your property and dwelling?
- Verify dimensions – will your new appliance fit in the intended area?
- Check for obstacles along the path to the hook up location. Is the path clear? Will the appliance fit through the front door?
- Verify that an unloading zone is available within 7m of the home for parking and access.
- Verify that there is an elevator or less than 3 steps to get to the delivery location.
- You will be required to present your proof of purchase and photo ID upon delivery.
- Inspect your new appliance for any visible damage. Notify the delivery driver of any damage at time of hook up.
- Verify that plumbing is in working order. Old taps that aren't in frequent use tend to leak when turned on, this is not a fault of the appliance.
- We do NOT carry bulky items up spiral staircases. We will bring the appliance inside, up to the bottom of the staircase.
Transactions On This Website
This site is owned and operated by Leading Edge Group Limited. All transactions on this website are processed by Leading Edge Group Limited. Leading Edge Group Limited members may receive a commission payment from transactions placed on this website.
All prices on this website are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST but exclusive of delivery and freight costs. We operate in Australia and cannot supply products or services outside of Australia. For security reasons we reserve the right to review orders placed from outside Australia for pick up or delivery within Australia.
Terms of Order Placement
The Terms and Conditions of use of our Site are incorporated into these Terms of order.
This Site attempts to display product images as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see matches the product colour, as the display of the colour depends, in part, upon the monitor you are using. Accordingly, all pictures and images displayed on this website are for illustration purposes only.
Product dimensions and specifications are given as helpful information only and are not to be relied on, particularly for final installation. Please refer to the manufacturer’s specification prior to purchase and to ensure there have been no recent alterations to the selected product. Accessories are not included unless otherwise stated.
Advertised Price Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the following disclaimers apply with respect to prices and offers:
- Prices and offers are subject to change without notice.
- Some advertised products may have been available in store at lower or different prices than that advertised from time to time. Advertised savings are calculated against recommended ticketed prices in store and/or previously advertised prices. Some retailers may have previously ticketed products at a higher price than that advertised, in which case savings would be greater.
- Some pricing will reflect delivery as part of the overall cost. This may create a differential when purchasing from a store as opposed to a direct ship purchase from the website.
- The price for goods bought from your Leading Edge Appliances Store may be lowered after your order has been accepted and payment processed.
- We reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment for the order made.
- Terms and conditions apply to all promotions and offers.
If you use the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. To purchase goods via the Site, you may create an account by becoming a Leading Edge Appliance customer or checking out as a Guest.
If you check out as a Guest, full access to functionality on the Site may not be available to you including possible order history, order status, address book and receipt of additional marketing communications.
The Site is intended for use by persons 18 years of age or older. Users under the age of 18 should seek the assistance of a parent or guardian to use this Site.
For privacy and security reasons, Leading Edge Appliances is unable to lookup or issue new passwords to account holders or assist account holders to change their password. We may use third-party software to verify your account or account details.
We reserve the right to modify or terminate an account or your account details at our absolute discretion, including the right to delete, merge or amalgamate duplicate accounts held by you and/or orders where the information provided is discontinued or obsolete, incomplete, illegal, incorrect, misleading, inactive for a reasonable period, or we have not been able to contact you using the information provided with your account, and/or where we believe your account is being used for purposes that do not comply with these Terms of Order or the Terms and Conditions of use of our Site.
Placing an Order for Products
You may order products by selecting and submitting your order through the Site in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Any order placed through this Site for a product is an offer by you to purchase the particular product for the price notified at the time you place the order.
We may ask you to provide additional details, including proof of identification, or require you to confirm your details to enable us to process any orders placed through the Site. You agree to provide us with current, complete, and accurate details when asked to do so by the Site.
Paying For Your Order
This site currently operates so that it accepts payments for your order using the following payment methods:
- Visa/Master Debit Card
Payment providers may change from time to time and without notice.
Payment processing services offered via the Site are outsourced to third party providers. If we do not receive or are unable to successfully process payment in full for your order for any reason, we will cancel your order.
Where we choose to use third-party services in conjunction with this Site, including secure payment options for purchasing goods from the Site, you may also be required to create and maintain a separate account that may include Personal Information and financial account details.
If you choose to pay by Visa, American Express or MasterCard credit card or debit card, you authorise us to debit the amount that is payable for an accepted order from your nominated card. You will be required to provide us with the following details on your Visa, American Express or MasterCard: card type, name on card, card number, 3 or 4-digit card verification value (CVV) and the card expiry date.
You must not pay, or attempt to pay, for products or services through any fraudulent or unlawful means. Your arrangements and obligations with respect to your purchase of the product/s and/or services remain with the Leading Edge Appliances which is set out on the tax invoice you receive with your ordered product/s and/or services, including product warranties and servicing.
After you place an order using our shopping cart, we will check the information you give us for validity, by verifying your method of payment or shipping address. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us for any reason whatsoever. If we reject your order, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address or contact phone number you have given us with the order. Your credit or debit card will normally not be charged if we reject an order, but we will process a refund if the charge has been made against your card. Refunds or reversals can only be made against the card used in the initial transaction.
The availability of products and services on this Site are subject to change without notice. No commitment to stock availability is made on our Site.
We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason. These restrictions may include orders placed by the same account, the same credit card, and orders that use the same billing address. In the event we reject an order, make a change to an order, or limit an order we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit sales to dealers or any commercial enterprise. We will not accept an order where the billing address is a post office box.
If we are unable to supply all items listed on your order, these terms and conditions will apply to the supply of all or part of the order.
We may backorder goods on your behalf if for any reason we are unable to supply any or all items listed on your order. Where a backorder has been placed on your behalf, we will contact you by phone or email following delivery of the backordered good at the nominated delivery address. All backorders are subject to stock availability with our supplier.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if you are unable to prove that you are the customer (or agent/representative of the customer) listed on the order, or if you are ineligible to purchase goods sold on the website due to age restrictions. We reserve the right to not provide stock if proof of purchase, identity or age cannot be produced. To comply with our legal obligations, you acknowledge that we may be required to retain a copy of any identification provided.
Cancelling An Order
Prior to dispatch of your order, you may cancel your order by using our contact us form or contacting the Leading Edge Appliances retailer with whom your order was placed. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee to cover our reasonable costs in respect of your cancelled order. If your order has been dispatched we can not cancel your order.
If a cancellation is requested by the customer and not initiated by Leading Edge Appliances, a 3% cancellation fee will apply to cover the credit card merchant fees.
If Leading Edge Appliances initiates the cancellation of your order, the full amount will be refunded.
In Store Pick-up
You will be contacted when your order is ready to be collected if you have elected to collect your purchase from a Leading Edge Appliance store member. Your purchased items are not available to pick up from any store other than the store at which you nominated as part of your online purchase, unless otherwise advised. To protect both you and us from fraud, at the time of picking up your purchase you may be required need to prove your identity as the customer making the purchase by presenting:
- The notification emailed to you at the time of purchase
- A current Australian Driver’s License, Australian Passport or other form of Australian State or Federal Government issued ID; and
- If a credit card is used to pay for the transaction, the credit card used to make the payment.
To protect you and us from fraud, you are unable to nominate an agent or representative to collect goods on your behalf in respect of transactions that exceed $500.
Any request to deliver purchases to a delivery address or pick up from a Leading Edge Appliance store member may incur delivery costs. This will be advised to you at the time of your purchase and may be required to be paid as part of the initial transaction.
Title to the products purchased remains with Leading Edge Group Limited until all monies payable (including any interest, freight, or insurance charges) have been paid and cheques, direct deposits or BPAY funds have cleared. Risk in the products the subject of the transaction passes to you at the time of collection or the time of dispatch of the Products from a Leading Edge Appliance store member.
Collection and Delivery Delays
We will make every reasonable effort to contact you if you do not pick up your goods from the selected Leading Edge Appliance store member within 7 days of placing your order or another specified time. If the products listed on the original order are no longer available at the time of collection, then a substitute product of similar specification and equal (or lower) cost may be supplied, with any difference in cost refunded. If you fail to collect your order within 2 weeks of making your purchase, we or the applicable Leading Edge Appliance store member may, at our election:
- impose a daily storage fee (“storage fee”) for each day you do not collect your purchase over 2 weeks from the date of the online transaction. The storage fee must be paid when you collect your purchase, or your purchase may not be released to you; or
- allocate the purchased goods to another customer order and refund to you the purchase price less an administration fee; or
- contact you using the contact information provided at the time of placing your order and provide you with notice advising you that if your purchase is not collected within the prescribed time we will dispose of your purchase pursuant to the relevant legislation in the applicable State or Territory.
If we are advised by a Supplier or 3rd party logistics company of a delay in delivering your goods, we will endeavour to contact you or have that party contact you to arrange a new delivery date or estimate. Leading Edge Group Limited accepts no liability for goods not delivered in accordance with delivery expectations relayed at the time of the transaction.
Leading Edge Appliances will use its best endeavours to deliver timely service, notwithstanding unpredictable scheduling increases, unscheduled transport or illness problems and other factors beyond the control of the Leading Edge Group or the Leading Edge Appliances Store member, but not limited to power failure, technical breakdowns, and acts of God (e.g. pandemic, flood, fire, storm).
Warranty & Returns
All products purchased in Australia by consumers come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Many products also come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If a product or service you buy fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy. If the problem is minor, you may be offered a free repair of the product. If the problem is major, you may choose between a replacement and a refund. For more information about consumer guarantees, please refer to the ACCC website at www.accc.gov.au.
Faulty Goods Under Manufacturer's Warranty
Contact Leading Edge Appliances’ online customer support team by using our contact us form for assistance. If your goods are faulty and are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer will advise if the item should be repaired or replaced. You may need to arrange for the item to be repaired by an authorised repair agent after contacting the manufacturer directly, returning the product to the store you purchased it from (along with the invoice and some photo identification) or in the case of a purchase from our website, by contacting Leading Edge Appliances’ online customer support team by using our contact us form.
Damaged Goods Upon Arrival
We recommend you thoroughly inspect your purchased product upon delivery. Where you have purchased your product via our website and it has been damaged prior to arrival, please get in contact with our online customer support team via email to email@example.com.
Returns For Change Of Mind - Online Purchases
We are unable to facilitate change of mind purchases. Please ensure you make your selection carefully. We can not cancel orders already processed and shipped.
Product Recall Notices
Product recall notices will be placed on the “Product Recall” section on the homepage
Prices and offers are subject to change without notice. The price for goods bought from this website may be lowered after your order has been accepted and payment processed. Prices displayed on this Site are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Advertised “Online Only” specials and promotions are only available via purchases made on this Website. Leading Edge Appliance store members may or may not price match offers made on this website at their sole discretion.
Using Gift Cards
Gift cards, unlike credit or debit cards, are debited at the time an order is placed. These cards will automatically be redeemed when used at the time of purchase, up to the total purchase amount or gift card amount, whichever is the lesser. In the event the total purchase amount exceeds the value of the gift card, you will be required to use another form of payment for the remaining part of the total purchase amount.
Using Promotion Codes
Promotion codes can be redeemed during checkout to provide discounts and special offers as outlined by the specific terms and conditions for each promotion code. Even if not stated in the specific promotion code terms and conditions by default the following items are NOT valid for purchase using a promotion code;
- gift cards
We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders that are placed containing these items.
Leading Edge Loyalty Cards
Leading Edge Loyalty Cards may be used in attracting discounts for your online purchase. Your Loyalty Card number can be applied during checkout to provide any relevant and available discounts and special offers as outlined by the specific terms and conditions for your card. Your Leading Edge Loyalty card applies discounts on selected items and does not automatically apply to all purchases. Your eligibility to receive a discount will be made clear during your checkout process.
Termination Of Use
We may, in our sole discretion, terminate your account or your use of the website at any time without notice and for any reason whatsoever. You are personally liable for any orders that you place or charges that you incur prior to termination. We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspects of the website at any time without prior notice for any reason whatsoever.
You represent and warrant to us that:
(a) you have the legal capacity or access to legal advice to help you to understand and accept these terms;
(b) you are an individual 18 years or over;
(c) you are purchasing products for domestic use and not for commercial resale;
(d) you reside in Australia; and
(e) you will not add any content to this website except information we request of you.
Leading Edge Group Limited or the relevant Leading Edge Appliances store member shall be entitled to assign or subcontract all or any of its rights and obligations in any Order terms to any third party without your consent. However, you may not assign or subcontract any of your rights and obligations in any Order.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit or exclude any provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other similar state or territory laws (Consumer Law). In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Consumer Law, the Consumer Law will prevail. To the extent permitted by law and subject to your rights and remedies under the Consumer Law, you acknowledge and agree that Leading Edge Group Limited and its Related Entities shall not be liable to you or any other person for any damages, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expense, costs, data loss or corruption, or liability arising out of, or related to, the services provided by the Leading Edge Group Limited or the installation, use of, or inability to use your products. You release and hold harmless Leading Edge Group Limited and its Related Entities from and against any loss, liability, or damage that you or the owner or lessee may suffer. Subject to the Consumer Law, the liability of Leading Edge Group Limited and its Related Entities is expressly limited to the cost replacement of the product or the reperformance of the applicable service.
